Virginia “Ginny” Gambacurta is a shareholder and practices in the firm’s Birmingham, Alabama office. Ginny’s practice primarily includes the defense of local, regional and national manufacturers, distributors, retailers, restaurants and hotels in premises liability, product liability and transportation cases. She has earned an AV-rating through the Martindale-Hubbell peer review process.
Ginny is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is a member of the Birmingham and Alabama Bar Associations, the National Retail and Restaurant Defense Association and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
Ginny graduated magna cum laude from Troy University (AL) with a BS degree in business administration and earned her JD from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL).
In addition to practicing law, Ginny oversees Carr Allison’s summer clerkship program. She has always enjoyed mentoring law students and associates and Carr Allison’s summer clerkship program provides an invaluable opportunity to connect with aspiring young attorneys who are the future of the legal profession.
Outside of work, Ginny enjoys spending her free time with friends and family. Any given weekend you will find her at the beach, lake, or pool, unless she is assisting with hair, makeup, and costume changes during one of her daughter’s dance competitions. Ginny also enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, walking her dog – a beloved English Cream Golden Retriever named Meadow – or simply enjoying a family movie night.
