Tinsley Griffin Hill is an associate in Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office. Tinsley is admitted to practice in Alabama and focuses her practice on defending the matters involving workers’ compensation, extra contractual, fraud, punitive damages, general litigation and mediation.
Tinsley graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and minors in music and English from University of Mobile (AL). While there, she served as president of the Honors Society. She was also a founding member, executive board member and team captain of their Mock Trial Team. Tinsley also was awarded the University of Mobile Weaver Award. From there, she went on to become the first female graduate of the J.D./Ph.D. dual program from University of Alabama. Tinsley earned her Juris Doctor from the School of Law, while also earning her Doctorate of Philosophy in political science. While there, she served as article editor and on the managing board of the Journal of the Legal Profession, president of Christian Legal Society and board member of Campbell Moot Court.
Tinsley, originally from Savannah (GA), currently resides in Tuscaloosa with her husband, Joshua. In her free time she loves to play violin in her church orchestra.
