Melanie graduated summa cum laude from Williams Baptist University (AR) with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While there she served on the Interprofessional Education Board and was involved in the Family Law Society and Phi Delta Phi.
