Meagan graduated from Columbus State University (GA) with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. She then earned her Master of Science degree in organizational leadership from Columbus State University (GA) as well. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL). While there, Meagan was involved in the Career Development Advisory Board and Women in Law. She also served as president of the Christian Legal Society and was an admissions ambassador.

Meagan, a Columbus (GA) native, gives back to her community by participating in the Administer Justice League Clinic and serving on the committee for the Pro Bono Celebration Task Force (2023). In her free time, she enjoys working out at Burn Boot Camp, socializing with friends and family, traveling and learning about various topics through reading and watching documentaries.
