Keir graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in political science and criminology. He went on to serve as a Police Officer before earning his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. While there, he was involved in the Moot Court Board and the Mock Trial Team. He was also awarded the Phyllis Stansell Ethics and Professionalism Award (2018) and the Florida Coastal School of Law Founders’ Award (2018).

In Keir’s free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling, piano, spending time with his wife and watching college and professional football.
