Professional Profile
Jennifer A. Hoffman is a shareholder with Carr Allison in the Orlando (FL) office. She has a diverse practice with a focus on defending all types of personal injury matters involving the retail and hospitality industry. She also has extensive experience defending developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and product suppliers in construction defect litigation, including risk transfer issues, throughout the state of Florida.
Jennifer is a member of numerous organizations including the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, DRI, and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. She has served in numerous leadership roles with DRI including chair of the Retail and Hospitality Committee (2014-2016), chair of the Retail and Hospitality Program (2013-2014), and as a member of the Annual Meeting Steering Committee. She is the 2016 Recipient of DRI’s Davis Carr Outstanding Committee Chair Award. During her time with DRI, she also spoke at numerous seminars.
A cum laude graduate of Huntingdon College in Montgomery (AL), with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. Jennifer then earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from The Florida State University College of Law. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys working out at the gym, going to the beach and spending time with her husband and their daughter.
