Professional Profile
Hannah Stokes is an associate in Carr Allison’s Birmingham, Alabama office where her practice focuses on products liability, premises liability and construction defense.
Hannah earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama. She earned her law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as President of the Dorbin Association. While in law school, Hannah received the Justice Janie L. Shores Scholarship. She was also awarded the Order of the Samaritan, the highest public service award given by the law school. After passing the bar, Hannah began practicing insurance defense litigation in Birmingham.
Hannah currently serves as a committee chair on the BBA Women Lawyer’s Section Board. In 2019, she was a recipient of the Women Lawyer’s Section Distinguished Service Award. She is also a Board Member for the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Young Lawyer’s Section.
Hannah is originally from Rainbow City, Alabama. She and her husband, Blaine, now reside in Vestavia. Outside of the office, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her Boykin Spaniel Rookie. Hannah cheers for her alma mater’s football team, the Crimson Tide.
