Garrett Hartley is an associate in Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office. His practice focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation, personal injury, premises liability and insurance coverage matters. He is licensed to practice law in Alabama.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham), Garrett went on to earn his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL), graduating cum laude. While at Cumberland, Garrett was named to the Dean’s List each semester and served as an Associate Editor and Junior Editor of the Cumberland Law Review. Garrett earned several Scholar of Merit Awards and was named a Judge Abraham Caruthers Fellow.
A native of Greenville (AL), Garrett enjoys creative writing and was recognized with a Best Poetry award in the Southern Regional Honors Council literary arts journal. He also spends time gardening, running and hiking.
