Dixie Daimwood is a shareholder in the firm’s Tallahassee, Florida office. Dixie’s extensive practice includes construction litigation, labor and employment defense, medical malpractice claims and transportation matters, among others.
Dixie received her undergraduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State University and earned her Juris Doctor from the Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. Following law school, she served as Assistant State Attorney and felony prosecutor in the State Attorney’s Office. She was then selected as Senior Attorney, Criminal Appeals Division, in the Attorney General’s Office in Tallahassee.
As a Senior Appellate Attorney at the Attorney General’s Office, Dixie represented the state of Florida before the Florida Supreme Court and First District Court of Appeal. One of her notable victories upheld the constitutionality of Florida’s Sale and Delivery Statute. See Flagg v. State, 74 So. 3d 138 (Fla. 1st DCA 2011).
