Dawn George is a shareholder in Carr Allison’s Orlando (FL) office and brings extensive experience in defending claims involving employment law, property damage, professional liability, premises liability and personal injury. Dawn has represented clients in both federal and state courts, before the EEOC and Florida Commission on Human Relations. Her skill and passion lie in preparing litigation strategies for the defense and resolution of claims; representing clients in mediations, arbitrations and motion practice before the courts; collaborating with claims adjusters and clients; understanding the litigation process and knowing when negotiating settlements will result in favorable resolutions for clients.
In personal injury and liability matters, Dawn has represented clients in both mediation and litigation, providing defense strategies and resolution of claims involving liability, property damage and D&O insurance.
In addition to Dawn’s litigation skills, she has extensive knowledge in employee-related matters, including employee relations, hiring, termination, employee leave, compensation, safety and relevant federal regulations and guidelines. Dawn shares her proficiency in the human resources space with professionals and provides senior management and board members with advice and counsel on policy development.
Dawn earned her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from West Virginia University. She is licensed to practice in Florida and West Virginia.
