Cassandra DeCoste is an associate in Carr Allison’s Tallahassee office where her practice focuses on workers’ compensation.
Cassandra earned her bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish from Florida State University. She earned her law degree from the Florida State University College of Law where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy, participated in the Jessup Moot Court, and graduated magna cum laude. Upon graduation, she became a member of the Florida State University Chapter of the Order of the Coif. After passing the bar, Cassandra began her legal career as the Indian Country Fellow for the Federal District of South Dakota, a fellowship under the Department of Justice’s Honors Attorney program. She is admitted to practice in both South Dakota and Florida.
Cassandra spent her early childhood in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, although she calls Tallahassee, Florida home. Outside of the office, Cassandra enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She visits Disney World whenever the opportunity presents itself. Her hobbies include painting, traveling, and attending Florida State football games.
