Anna Saunders is an associate in Carr Allison’s Birmingham, Alabama office where her practice focuses on workers’ compensation, labor and employment related issues and premises liability defense.
Anna earned two bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Alabama. While in undergraduate school, she received a scholarship to study political science in Brussels, Belgium. She earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL), where she served as the Copy Editor of the Cumberland Law Review. While attending Cumberland, Anna was a member of the Henry Upson Sims National Moot Court Board and Team, and winner of the James O. Haley Federal Trial Competition. She received the award for Best Brief in the Gordon T. Saad Moot Court Competition. She also earned Scholar of Merit awards in Constitutional Law and Legal Ethics. While in law school, Anna completed an externship with the Honorable R. David Proctor at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and was selected by the faculty to serve as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow.
Outside of the office, Anna enjoys spending time with family, friends and her golden retriever, Rosie. She enjoys international travel, running and attending sporting events.
