Professional Profile

Amanda Cutshall Goozée is a shareholder in the Birmingham, Alabama office of Carr Allison and maintains a diversified practice which includes workers’ compensation, insurance, labor, transportation and premises liability litigation matters.

Amanda serves her alma mater, Birmingham-Southern College, on its Norton Board, serving as a mentor to pre-law students and speaking on legal panels annually, as well as being as regular speaker for Continuing Legal Education seminars. She currently serves as an officer for the Alabama State Bar Workers’ Compensation section, and was recently elected by her peers to serve on the Bar’s Judicial Education Committee. This Committee, comprised of only 8 attorneys state-wide, serves to educate Alabama’s judges on workers’ compensation laws through written materials and continuing education seminars. Further, Amanda serves on the committee for the Alabama State Bar’s pilot program to create board certification specializations for the State of Alabama.

Amanda earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law. She is admitted to practice in all Alabama state courts and before the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama.
