Professional Profile

Alex Townsley is an associate in Carr Allison’s Mobile (AL) office where his practice focuses on premises liability, retail and hospitality, workers’ compensation and transportation matters.  Alex is admitted to practice in Alabama.

A history major, Alex received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University (AL), graduating magna cum laude, where he was recognized as an Honors Scholar.  He then earned his MBA from Samford University (AL), where he also received his Juris Doctor.  While in law school, Alex was named to the Dean’s List and served as editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy Volume 43.  Through the Birmingham Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program, Alex has spent time on the bankruptcy help desk, the veterans help desk and the Wills Clinic.

A native of Fairhope (AL), Alex enjoys honing his cooking skills and experimenting with Cajun dishes for his wife Rachel.
