Congratulations to Faith Nixon for receiving the President's Award of Insurance Professionals. Insurance Professionals is the Mobile chapter of the National Association for Insurance Women, of which Ms. Nixon is a member. The President's Award recognizes outstanding contribution to the group. Ms. Nixon was awarded in part for her participation as a chairperson of the public relations and community involvement committee. Nixon practices in Carr Allison's Pensacola, Florida office.

2010Carr Allison is one of the sponsors of DRI's Construction Law Seminar on September 30 - October 1, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Carr Allison shareholder, Kathy R. Davis, serves as chair of the Construction Defect Specialized Litigation Group for DRI's Construction Law Committee. She will present, "Moving from the Minors to the Majors - Catastrophic Failures," at the seminar. She, along with Martha W. Hart of Century Surety Company and Robert M. Zaralban of SEA Ltd., will discuss the unique issues involved when construction defects create catastrophic failures.
Kathy Davis is a shareholder in Carr Allison's Birmingham, Alabama office. Her practice focuses on the defense of construction law cases, general litigation cases and insurance coverage matters.
