2010Judson W. Wells, Sr., a Carr Allison shareholder and retired Mobile County District Judge (1997-2007), recently returned to the Mobile County District Court to serve as a judge. At the request of Judge Charles McKnight, Judge Wells presided over Judge McKnight's criminal and traffic court docket of December 3, 2009. The Mobile County District Judges have indicated that they may ask Judge Wells to assist with dockets several times a year.
Judge Wells stated, "It was my honor to preside over a court docket for the Mobile County District Court and Judge McKnight on December 3, 2009. I am happy to assist with the judicial system in my role as a retired trial judge."
