Carr Allison maintains a clerkship program every summer for rising
second year and third year law students. The firm currently has law
clerks in its Birmingham office, but the Mobile, Florence and Dothan
offices will eventually have their own clerking programs. Most clerks
commit to a six-week period during the summer. Full summer clerkships
are available. However, the firm encourages law students to obtain as
many legal experiences as possible. The firm is committed to exposing
law students to all aspects of the practice of law. Law clerks are
encouraged to attend client meetings, depositions, hearings and trials
with lawyers. The firm encourages the law students to attend matters
outside the office on projects the law student has worked on. For more
information, please contact Thomas C. Logan at tlogan@carrallison.com.
