Professional Profile

Jonathan R. Maples serves as counsel in the Mobile, Alabama office of Carr Allison.  He focuses his litigation practice on the defense of personal injury, premises liability, product liability, professional liability, general liability, workers’ compensation matters, transportation and admiralty law matters.

Jonathan obtained his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the Culverhouse School of Commerce and Business Administration at the University of Alabama.  He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Jonathan is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Baldwin County Bar Association and the Mobile Bar Association.  He also belongs to the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute.  As a member of the Mobile Bar Association, Jonathan previously served as President of the Mobile Young Lawyers and the Mobile Bar Association Executive Committee.  He also served on the board for the Mobile Bar Foundation.

In addition to traveling with his wife, Jonathan enjoys spending time away from work reading, playing golf or boating.
