David K. Howard is a shareholder practicing in the Florence, Alabama office of Carr Allison. His practice covers a wide range of litigation cases, including insurance defense, healthcare, products liability and punitive damages liability matters.
Mr. Howard was elected as president of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association from 2010-2011 and is a Fellow within the Alabama State Bar. Prior to his practice with Carr Allison, Mr. Howard served as Assistant District Attorney for Lauderdale County, Alabama. He is also a member of several organizations including the National Association of Railroad Trail Counsel and the International Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Howard is a former Alabama State Bar Commissioner and former member of the State Bar’s Disciplinary Panel. He was recently selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© 2018 in the areas of personal injury litigation and products liability.
Mr. Howard is a graduate of the University of Alabama where he received his Bachelor’s Degree and earned his law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL).
